I was out the house just after 5.00 am and it was already 21 degrees and 93% humidity. The conditions were against a good run but I had set to do 2 laps of the Bay under 80 minutes. The first lap was 40.14 and I thought the sub 80 was gone. Dug deep and tried to run on the par I wanted but as smooth a possible.
@ laps of the Bay is just under 14k and I had to dig deeeeeep to maintain the pace over the last 3 k and just managed 79.36.
I still feel very drained late this afternoon.
Some views of Iron Cover Bridge. There are 2 the old and new. The old is straight and the new has a pleasant curve. One is under the old bridge with the curved lights on the new one to the left.
