What a great morning. Is it the first day of spring or is that sometime around the 21st - I'll take it as today. As the morning was just perfect so it matched the way I felt - after a recovery day there was certainly a SPRING in my step. Ran very freely with a good stride length for the first time in a long while. It felt so so fast but wasn't but the feeling of speed and no discomfort was there. The feeling was reflected in the first time under 51 minutes. Lets hope I can hold the recovery for the next week and with the marathon taper run a sub 50 late next week as a confidence booster.

yep, 1 september is the first day of spring.
The spring equinox is what happens around the 21st. That's when the sun is directly over the equator - on it's way back south.
