Only one run since Thredbo - that was Wednesday afternoon with the Striders Marathon Group - once around the Bay with 5 x 1km repeats in the middle - managed the 5 all in about 4.04 which was firm and steady. Feel I have given myself a good rest but know the muscles would not have recovered fully yet. Will see how the recovery is going with the 5km Challenge on Saturday morning around the Bay - not sure what a hard effort will produce - expect I might just sneak in under 20.
