Last week after the marathon I did not run until Thursday but this week it was Tuesday. Partly because Sunday was slow and also I need to do some active recovery and preparation for the Macleay River Marathon on Sunday so i was out.
A easy warm up and the a lap of the Bay as quick as I could go and still feel comfortable. 34.13 which was quicker than I expected. The after I did not stretching just to hopefully add to the recovery or at least feel like I was aiding recovery.
It was a beautiful morning out around the Bay not long after 5.30 am. Very low tide, still and cool but not cold. Just great weather to be out running.
