I decided I needed to focus on some speed.
So despite it being just 4 days after the marathon with one the week before I still needed to get the legs turning over quickly. Usually I would have had 14k run on my usual loop at 5.15+ pace. I don't need to increase my speed a lot (well maybe I do need to do that but I am not trying to do that). In the next 2 weeks I just want to run at a higher intensity more often than I would usually do. WITHOUT BREAKING ANYTHING.
So today 5k at 4.27 pace.Not super quick but it gets gets me back into the intensity zone when I usually would not be in it. The just 1k @ 4.08. Checked all the systems and nothing broken to headed off for some exercise at the park overlooking the water at the Bay.
