It was a beautiful morning to be out. With some light over night rain the streets were clean. The temperature in the pre dawn was perfect for running.
I felt great and felt like a hard run. I could no feel any lingering issues from the marathon although I am sure the muscles have not recovered. Anyway I felt good and ready to run.
It was a serious lap from the start with not a word spoken. Finished in 30.53 that was exactly the same as 2 weeks ago. SMC half on Sunday. JD and I plan to run together and see what we can do with Rach and I guess her plan to be under 100 minutes. It has been a long while since I have been under that magic time so we will see what happens.
